They can only investigate INNOCENT people!! Then they would have to give that GUILTY person every opportunity and then some to "clean up their act" so that the child can end up dead before they actually do something to the GUILTY party. An innocent person they rake over the coals! Yeah. I have no time for them. Been on every side of DHS....been investigated (drummed up charge) called DHS on abusive and negligent mother of step child (they did nothing), plus am an EMT so am a madatory reporter. What a useless department.....look into some of the deaths of children in this state and how many times was DHS called prior to the child dying.
