/Film : Gay-Friendly Bruno Reshoots Rumored

My question is, who are Jack Plotnick, Peter Paige, and Jennifer Elise Cox and why should anyone, let alone Cohen, be concerned with what they have to say? They are waaaaaaaaaay too low on the celebrity totem pole to even be listened to.

/Film : The Buzz: Terminator Salvation is Horrible OR a Solid Summer Action Movie

So let me get this straight...unless they can find a director as good as James Cameron, they shouldn't make it? Wow...good luck.

/Film : Early Twitter Buzz: Inglourious Basterds

i'm very excited for this movie. the dialogue should be great, tarantino's a genius when it comes to exploring the demented human psyche (and is there anyone more demented then nazi's?). If you haven't read the script that was released, I reccomend you do so. The subtle facts here and there that he includes are the most intriguing part. For instance, Brad Pitt's character is described as having a long rope scar covering his whole neck, as if he survived a lynching. There is no mention of his scar in the dialogue of the movie. Also, tarantino is at his best when the scene is free-wheeling conversation. He examines simple topics and delves into their complexities by exploring the many viewpoints of his characters (take the opening scene in Reservoir Dogs or any time Jackson and travolta are talking in Pulp Fiction). The way he portrays the casual conversations of nazi's (like one scene when many high ranking Nazi officials are having lunch at a restaurant) is fascinating. Very natural, very smooth, and extremely offensive (but they were nazi's, so of course it's offensive). Just imagine QT's uncensored mouth in the presence of the most racist people to ever live.

/Film : Wolverine Review

another thing, when striker is controlling deadpool from the computer in the final scene, he types "decapitate" into the program. I hate when movies/shows do this. That is, when someone is controlling another entity by means of computer, they spell out and type the actual action they want to happen. Are we really supposed to believe that "decapitate" is the systematic entry into their program to control the actions? In my experience, computer programs are never that simple. Sorry, just something that bothered me last night and has always bothered me when I see it.

I liked it, didn't love it. There definitely needed to be more of wade wilson and gambit, and less of will.i.am. Plus, that fight scene with the blob was embarrassingly bad. I didn't quite understand if Victor was evil or just tired of being immortal, and deadpool was just thrown at us in the end without warning or introduction. He's waaaay too badass of a character to just be thrown in as a final fight villain.

/Film : You Again, Kirsten Bell

I really don't think Kristen Bell will have trouble "outrunning" her Veronica Mars role. To even put her role in that category (I call it the Malcolm McDowell/Alex DeLarge category) is an insult to many great actors that have had this problem. I don't quite see the draw to Veronica Mars; I've seen about a half-dozen episodes and it's OK, but nothing more than that. I'm not really drawn to watch any more. Brendon, you really think that My Best Friend's Wedding is better than Wedding Crashers???!!!

/Film : Movie Review: Observe and Report

First of all, this review was extremely hard to read. You really need to tone down the obscure references and way-to-deep connections between works. The only information in the whole review that impacted my expectations of the movie was the rating you gave it in the end. Honestly, you're not writing for a Harvard literature professor, you're writing for a bunch of movie geeks. With that said, I'm very excited to see the movie. Also, if you want to really analyze the corrupted male characters portrayed in modern entertainment, you cannot exclude a couple of FX's best. Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck and Tommy Gavin from Rescue Me cannot be ignored.
