I'm cautious about both. Losing games 0-1 with +10LOB or losing games after scoring +6 runs (but SP giving up 7 runs). They are L anyway. If the pitcher lets up 10 runs, you can't blame the offense that scored "only" 9 runs. If the defense dropped one easy ball, the offense has also to produce more. The offense won't always make up for those. Hitting with RISP can get better, certainly (too many LOB). But it's not like the offense hasn't been scoring at all.
