Really? I kind of figured that Spike's Billy Idol thing happened after... the existence of Billy Idol. So he could have gone through other fashion phases. And I kind of feel like there was a time when Drusilla was a little more with it than she is when we first meet her. Even then, her current fashion is more "retro goth" than "17th century".

I am a lactating mother and I found this episode very difficult to watch. I watched all of Season 1 of Dollhouse last year, when my baby was an infant. I stopped halfway through this episode, unable to continue watching, and have only just finished watching it now.

Adoptive parents are just as real as biological parents.

However: lactating is hormonal and does effect your emotions, big time. It's at least plausible that it could effect Echo's thought processes.

I agree with you that inducing lactation is not that big a deal and they should have looked into basic biology before they made Topher talk about how he could probably convince bodies not to have cancer or something. Lactation is a normal hormonal process and you probably could just flip a brain switch and get milk to flow, and I don't think Topher would feel that proud of himself for doing it.

LOLZ! Mark, the end of the chapter was a clear fade-to-black. We are supposed to assume they had sex. The sexual relationship has begun.

I thought it was good writing. It's showing how much farther Alanna has to come to feel comfortable in her skin.

I think it's good writing to show Jon acting like this, though. He's a nice prince, but he's a prince and he feels and acts entitled, often.
