They have behavioral schools for children with these issues. I adopted a drug and alchol baby at birth she is the youngest of 5 children. Due to the alchol and drugs she HAD severe emotional and behavorial problems from a very early age. When we moved to Eugene we were told she could not attend regular school. She went to the Child Center which deals with behavorial and emotional . They are trained to deal with alot of situations. My daughter went for 2 years there and finally was allowed into public school, She now is in 8th grade and a 4.0 student :) SO almost all public school personel are not trained in the proper way to restrain a unruley student and should not be trying to. The school district recieves a certain amount per child that is enrolled in the school.. If that child happens to need special services as an IEP they recieve a certaiin amount for that also and were not talking about a lil amount. In alot of cases the money that is allotted to a child for special services does not recieve near what they are suppose to get unless the parent advocates and makes sure the money is used for there child... I wonder if 4J district is having a problem due to lower enrollment due to alot of diffrent reasons some of which are the Bullying and Harrasment that is allowed by the 4J district.. The elderly driving is a very scarey thing.... I have a great great Aunt who lives in elmira that is turning 90 in Dec and she still drives and its very very scarey.. She has no sight in her left eye what so ever and her right isnt the best...She went to the DMV with my mother and when it came time for the eye test the lady was in such a hurry that she didn't listen to what was being said and passed her ... She has hit may of cars in parking lots or will come home with a dent or scratch she has no idea where it came from...
