Seriously, he spends half a paragraph comparing a character who's in it for a few minutes at best to the Ewoks, who encompassed a great deal of "Return of the Jedi". Try reading more than this review and you'll find there are many more praising the film a great deal, though in his defense most of them do have the general theme of "things seem to convenient at times", along with the criticism over the lack of development of the villain, Nero. I have been blind in my left eye since I was born and as such, 3D films do nothing for me. With all this talk about how amazing it will be, I can't seem to get myself excited for this. This isn't going to be a 3D-only release is it? Will it also be released it in 2D? I would think so, as there aren't nearly enough digital theaters to make up a $300 million-plus budget. I don't see anything wrong or stupid about looking at the physics of superheroes; it's not as if he isn't intelligent, rather, by applying physics to something like comics and superheroes, he is helping to introduce the field of phyiscs to those who might otherwise be disinterested.
