I think it means SLS? The bottle just says "Free from Sulphates, Parabens & Petrochemicals". The brand is called Kind Natured, but I think it's a UK brand, so you probably don't know it. I think I'll try it until Christmas and if it's not better until then, I'll switch back.

Hello! Term has ended, so I can now finally waste time on the internet without feeling guilty about it.
It is very cold and windy here. But I bought some excellent jumpers this year, so I feel reasonably well prepared for that. Was at a vintage fair two weeks ago where I bought two blouses and a Shetland jumper that is so great, I wore it the whole week.

A friend is coming to visit from tomorrow onwards, and while I'm excited to see her, it will also be a bit stressful because she's staying till Wednesday evening, and I have to vacate my room by 9:30 on Thursday morning. Sigh. But it will be ok. And then I'll go to London and finally see HAMILTON on the 20th!!!! Never have I planned something so far in advance (bought the tickets in January).

Dating goes meh, but I'll maybe share that on a Wednesday, unless we'd like a dating thread?

Also! Christmas/year end presents. Why are they.

ETA: Does anyone have experience with sulphate free shampoo? I more or less accidentally bought one and now my hair is really icky and I would like some reassurance that that passes soon.

Eep I cannot believe I missed the open threads again for several weeks! I shouldn't blame the time difference because it's only an hour, but I'm doing it anyway :D

I am slowly settling in - it's a bit hard to meet people because I live with the first years and while they're all very sweet, they are so much younger than me! And I am constantly exhausted and don't sleep well, so don't really do much in the evenings. And all the clubs and societies I've tried out so far have turned out the completely unorganised :( But I unexpectedly ran into an old acquaintance from home a few weeks ago and met her for coffee this week, that was nice.

AND I decided to finally join Facebook because everything seems to be organised via fb (which annoys me greatly) and I figured it would keep my anxiety in check because I wouldn't feel left out all the time.
And since I had already done that, I then decided to at least try Tinder because when if not now? (Or something) And actually had a very nice date four hour long date yesterday :) - it was rather awkward in the end because he asked how many relationships I have had before and I couldn't lie and had to say no and then he said "ah I kind of thought so" and that made me extremely self-conscious. But he realised it wasn't great and apologised, and we are probably going to see each other again :)

BUT actually I have another two dates tomorrow and on Sunday, with different men, because surprise surprise I am actually a cool person who does get asked out! Who knew! So that's my weirdness for this weekend, three dates in four dates, more than I had in the last four years in total :D

Have to run now, but will come back later and read all about everyone else's weird weekends!
