Just a few years ago, several gas-turbine power plants were constructed in California. This put giant utilities competing with homeowners for the same natural gas used for stoves, water heaters, and furnaces. The result was a dramatic increase in the price of natural gas sold to families. It is reasonable to conclude that more vehicles running LNG will also increase the price. i am not saying that the whole idea is bad; however, there are side effects which are not all good.
