I take it then that you would subscribe to being a "transnationalist" such as Harold Koh, and basically toss the Constitution in the trash. You would be happy to be ruled over by an unelected body established by the UN? Couch potato patriotism! Cute. There is a higher morality than that of self, however, todays moral ethics, are the morals of self, "If it feels good, do it" Self esteem, moral relativism. Individualism is pretty much thrown out of the window, we are made to feel guilty if we have more than our neighbor. Instead of bringing someone up, we are being pulled down to their level. Unlike you, I believe that Mr. Beck's 12 principles are the best basis for moral ethics. I prefer his route than where we are currently headed. Regretfully, I believe that the youth in our country have been indoctrinated into a group think mentality such as you espouse and no longer have the knowledge or desire to question anything, so you will have your world sooner than you think.

If anyone out there really wants to kow what your future will look like, check out the Waxman-Markey bill. There is a good summary of it on www.powermag.com/POWERnews/1811.html. Unless we get those wind turbines cranking soon, we are going to be paying alot more for electric power. But as someone noted above, wind is FREE! Nice to live in that world. Enjoy the day.

I love you people! Scientists Say geothermal energy... and it's FREE! using geothermal energy requires, drilling, pumps, generators, controls, transmission lines, transformers, etc.. Just like any other energy source. It's there, just like water, oil, sun light, wind, but you require work to transform it to a useable energy. Free, right!

I notice we have some Anti Gun people on board here. Just to throw out some statistics, you have about 12,000 firearm related deaths in 2005 and about 43,000 car related fatalities. I guess we should look into eliminating cars. The anti gunners are probably climate control koolaiders so they should like that idea. Guns do not add much in the way of CO2.

Some of the things I would like to see on the wish list are: Eliminate the Dept of Education Eliminate the Federal Reserve Reinstate the Gold standard for the dollar Fire all Czars Get out of the UN and throw them out of the country Make English the official language of the nation Have all government officials on the same social security program that we have. Limit immigration to those that have sponsors and will take responsibility for their integration into our culture Limit the amount of lawyers in congress to 10% at any one time Eliminate the EPA-give states the authority to regulate their environments Eliminate all PACS and Lobbyists

FYI Our illustrious Senators just passed the "Serve America Act, a similar bill passed the House last week, the GIVE act. Both bills are estimated to cost about $6 billion. Chump Change right! Obama is now getting his "Citizen's Army". Everyone may want to start reading Mein Kampf. I would recommend calling your Senators and congressmen because they now have to hammer out a compromise by next week. Unless you want to be a "Volunteer". We are getting buried people, he is moving at light speed.
