How often do we hear about ordinary people defending themselves with firearms? Never. It happens everyday all across the nation that guns protect peoples lives and property and in the vast majority of cases they are not discharged. I am not a gun nut but I do own guns. In my house I am the first line of defense. At the shopping mall (god forbid) I may be your first line of defense. Carrying a gun is my right and yours. Think about it. Do you put on your seat belt just before you crash or do you always wear it. Same thing with a gun, I pray I never need it but it&#039;s there if I (or you) do.
