You are correct that an adult can do any number of things to learn to make better life choices, but some won't if they are continuously being "enabled".

I wish I could ask Kyron's best friend why Kyron told several people that
"my stepmom is dead".

Kids say "dead" when they know something very negative about someone. It means "person who is in very serious trouble". For example: "You are so dead when Mom finds out that you wrecked her new car."

Kyron knew something about Terri that was going to get her into very serious trouble.
I wish one of his friends would tell us what was this serious trouble.

The Oregonian learned that Terri Horman's parents recently refinanced their home with a $165,450 mortgage, paying off the previous mortgage of $86,000. The deed of trust was filed Aug. 17 in Douglas County. http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010...

Terri’s parents are almost 75 years old and starting in Aug., they now have a $165,500 mortgage debt. This is shameful, Terri.

Thank you for your kind words, acepixure. My friends and I have been searching for Kyron. Lately we have concentrated looking through the roadside brush for cell phones that may have been tossed there. Over the past months we have sadly looked for anything that looked like disturbed earth or human remains in the very tall, tick-filled grass. We are also praying daily for Kryon to be found and for God to comfort his family and friends.

Carol and Larry are enablers for Terri. I am saddened that they have depleted their life savings and sold their home for their unappreciative daughter. I do not personal wish them any ill, but I do wish they would seek therapy before Terri drains them of all of their funds and eventually their good health.
