You have that right.

I'm worried that with this crazy spending, we'll have to worry about inflation as I near retirement- remember Jimmy Carter and his 21% stagflation - all my retired colleagues came back to work. I wish Obama would see the light.

I'm on LI also. My friend has a big two family house that was worth about 1.2 million just a year-and-a-half ago and now the realtor said she can't get more than $750 thou - meanwhile she's taxed on a 1.2million dollar house.

Obama's plans aren't working and what about that Gov. Paterson - tax happy Paterson - I'm not a fan of his either.

The taxes he is putting on the oil and gas industry will cost each American family $1300 according to Newt - at least that's what I think I heard him say on Greta's show.

It's Obama's budget now and it's become Obama's deficit because he has spent so much. I hope Americans start paying attention before it's too late. We need more tea parties.

Greta, it's insane. I can't even fathom how much a trillion is, but I do know our imperious leaders in DC have to stop the spending. They want a trillion more for healthcare under the guise it will help the economy.

They want another stimulus - why - because the other one didn't work? 10 trillion national debt, almost a trillion budget deficit and all our President can say is he's fiscally responsible, this is temporary, blah, blah, blah. We can't come back from this if it doesn't stop. It's immoral to spend our grandchilren's money.

We are already bankrupt - someone tell Congress and Obama.

Taking from the "rich" to give entitlements is not what America is about either. It encourages people to not succeed and strive. Now all we have to do is legalize pot since that zaps whatever last bit of ambition a person might have.

She's the same Maxine Waters who said Fannie and Freddie were fine and should not be regulated.

I received this email today and found it interesting.

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. The class had insisted that so cial ism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on so cial ism..

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one should fail and no one should receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little.. The second Test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased and all failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that so cial ism MUST ultimately fail because "the harder to succeed the greater the reward" no longer exists.

I'm glad you agree that a one party system is a bad idea, but I don't agree with you that republicans are hateful and isolationist. The libs would have us believe that. The republicans are right to protest the policies and spending because it is opposed to everything conservatives believe in.

Would you prefer to have everyone fall in line with this liberal garbage?

I also doubt your dem friends are worried that the repubs will disappear - that's their dream.
