This is off topic but I just found British actress I think would be suitable as Brienne. At least now when they seem to age the characters a bit. Gwendoline Christie. She's tall - 6'3" or 6'4". Here's video of her acting in Cymbeline and interview after that (starts from 1:45)

So... he's going to direct the whole season 1? As far as I know they'll not shoot in chronological order. It'd be difficult to change the director in the middle of the season.
