I can't think of a more memorable 'villain' than Lamar Pye, even including Hannibal Lecter. The juxtaposition between Bud and Lamar and their 'families' was just fantastic. I'm a hopeful novelist myself and this is one of the works I look up to and take inspiration from. Great job, Mr. Hunter!
