http://www.jeffnolan.com/blog/ : Twitter Clicks

Hi Jeff nice post. I don't think it affects your conclusions but there was a bit of a discussion about click counts and bit.ly recently with comments from bit.ly's lead (?) developer. See http://friendfeed.com/bhc3/619f00e6/something-is-...

http://www.jeffnolan.com/blog/ : Swine Flu and the \"Everyman\'s Approach to Risk\"

I also kinda felt bad about agreeing with the VP, but he eventually retracted, sparing me the pain. More seriously though: I think it's natural to not want to wait for the government to formally announce "OK now you can take severe precautions", before doing so. On the other hand such a warning will not be forthcoming without a significant number of deaths first. Let's hope we never get there.

http://www.jeffnolan.com/blog/ : Social Network Interopability

Well of course you're right. I'm just too dense to see how they can do that if we all moved to using the client. Seems they have to continue to innovate on the site in ways that keep users there. Maybe that's the benefit. By opening to clients they're forced to think harder.

But aren't you valuable to FB by being on the site rather than simply interacting with it via a client? PS YOur Tweetdeck colors hurt my eyes :)
