9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Apple to overtake Intel in mobile processors as early as next year?

Apple tell the companies what they want, and then they make it, Apple doesn't have that larger part in the design as you may think nor the technology to actually create it in the first place.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Tim Cook: iPad is the poster child of the post PC world

This is a pointless comparison... They are comparing Tablet sales to PC, i know the iPad is the top selling Tablet but it is still not comparative to a PC, this is like comparing smartphone sales to PCs it is not relevant, people have multiple phones or tablets per families these days whereas they usually only have one computer...

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Oh Samsung, you are making this too easy

The design of the AC charger is not under any IP protection, so in relation to this comment you are dead wrong. People are welcome to copy it all they want, just as the power output of the charger is going to be the same as a hundreds of other devices, but im sure Apple is the only one allowed to charge with a 5V or 1A charger... If your not being "glib" or "rude" as you have posted in the last two replies why be so arrogent? you need the help not the person your attacking.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : After iOS gadgets, Unreal Engine 3 comes to the Mac

I'm fairly sure Gears of War is now published via Microsoft Studios and exclusive to Xbox 360 so i would expect it is unlikely to appear on OS X anytime in the near future/ever... Even if it was promised...

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Ahead of the launch, Samsung wants iPhone 5 banished from Korea

I dont know where to start with your pathetic reply, other then your lack of rebuttal too any point i make is hilarious, but expected from your previous posts. I never used hardware innovation as a excuse... i said that the design by Apple is that of something which is rather genetic and not that unbelievably amazing as your making it out too be... I was also stating you didn't make any reply in reference to Apple blatant copy of Androids notification system in iOS5, and many other features it has copied from webOS and Android... But I'm sure you'll find a way to avoid answering this again.. A large home button, like i said, is not something unique to iPhone, and for you to say that only Apple is allowed to use it is just insanity... Ditching of the search button is also something other Android manufactories have done, why not go have a dig at them too (let's not mention tho that iPhones don't even have a search button to start with) Good know that you have a much more vast knowledge of my phone collect... I own a Phone 4 (iPhone 3 prior to that) a HTC Desire and a SGSII, no sarcasm at all, and your presumption that i was lying was merely a deflect to your lack of response or answer to my reply.. It is obvious though that you only own a iPhone otherwise you would know the benefits of having a hardware based back key... I never said iPhone can't make a call (nice deflect again from the actual reply) but your statement that design > hardware is quite frankly the most stupid thing i have ever read... you have no idea just how absurd that sounds... design should always be second to hardware.. if design had came first we will lack most of the technology we currently enjoy.. If you think Apple has some universal right to be the only company to make a design a certain way, if anyone else comes close to a design similar, it is a blatant copy... It is just crazy.. If you owned a Android you would know just how smooth and fast it is, it puts a iPhone to shame.... It also isn't hard to run something that has 0 customisation and has such strict restrictions for app development... There is a reason more and more Android devices are shipping compared to iOS and it has nothing to do with design

I'm sorry but if hardware innovation isn't a valid claim over a design then i don't know what planet you live on... to say design innovation is more important then hardware ridiculous.. the external design s cosmetics and not hardware, you have no idea.... You didn't mention anything about the features of iOS and how they were copied... you just jump straight back to design... a curved rectangle is hardly a innovative and unique design that can only be used by apple... look at some of the old Nokia's and you'll see... How do i know why Samsung did it? but to claim that only Apple has the right to place a button that is larger then others on there phone in a prominent position is insanity I own a iPhone 4 actually and and Android device and i can tell you that having a physical back button that is always available is much more preferable then a integrated one reliant on interface layout The most important thing about a phone is its technology and connectivity... the design should be second to that, Apple place design over functionality way too often and to claim that cosmetics of the phone are a more important innovation then hardware is ludicrous

Maybe you should read the comment i was making reference too, here i'll repeat it for you "shut down Samsun smartphones & tablets" I was merely stating that isn't going to happen... innovate, i havent seen Apple create screens the equivalent to SAMOLED+ or NAND flash memory... there processors themselves are even not special in today's standard despite what this site would have you believe, the SGSII right now is the fastest and most powerful phone around you tell me that isn't innovation... Apple have a iOS system, which takes most of it's "new" features right from WebOS and Android and a design which has been around for years and is rather generic... Have a look at other Android phones, and you will see all have different ways of having home buttons and not all ave search buttons, but btw it does have a back button and a menu button either side of that home button, didn't release the iPhone had the same

Haha, good read from someone who obviously doesn't know the first thing about IP law or anything other then Apple fanboism.... Injunctions can be granted if there is only a bit of evidence to support it, and im sure Samsung could get similar remedy if they so wished themselves, but i guess we'll see that happen when iPhone 5 is eventually released.. Once it is overturned (which i think you'll find most rational people agree is the only outcome) Apple will be up for millions in damages... Samsung smartphones and tablets also isn't a devision of the company as you clearly don't understand, but part of Samsung electronics, you know that little company that is the largest IT company in the world (including Apple, and not to be confused with a companies market cap) and also the same company that produces most of the important components in your iDevices... You can hate all you want, but in time you will see just how wrong you are..
