Well, the change is actually in Chapter 1, with the SLIGHTLY different translations in the first few pages (and only in a minority of the speech bubbles); if I were to be honest, there's little to no change in meaning. Chapter 2 is completely identical in font and translation across both versions.

And while we're talking about Hitomi.la, WTH is it's deal, anyway? I can't find a single way to know how the guys behind it upload their stuff (they're obviously spread across the globe, judging by the wide variety of languages; English, Chinese, Russian, Thai, Portuguese, Korean... so varied). Are they a private invite-only "club", or something?

Strange. This translation is different from the one I got from Hitomi.la, and both are by Team Koinaka. What gives?

Hell, forget about Hitomi.la; the version that is available on Team Koinka's site has a different font and translates some of the speech bubbles differently. Are you sure you got the right version/translation?

Yeah, you may also want to double-check all of the releases you uploaded that were done by Doujin-Moe too. There's this one by Andou Hiroyuki -- oh yeah, title is Koisuru Purin-pai -- where at least one speech bubble was given a very different translation from what was actually there in Japanese.

English translation: "Get lost with some other big-titted whore!"

Actual translation (paraphrased from memory): "So if a girl is plump and has big boobs, anyone is fine?"

And yes, the tone in the Japanese is obviously merely questioning (perhaps with an implied anger-laced sorrowful tone, given her obvious state of distress AND her evidently rather introverted/nonconfrontational personality).

I would have preferred that the translator had not taken so much liberty in his/her translation of the dialogue. I've run pages 12 and 13 by this guy I know who qualifies as a very decent Japanese-to-English-and-vice-versa translator, and he says that Futa Risette not only injected the "we're related, so it's taboo" thing into Rei's dialogue when the original text never had such, but the original dialogue had Rei wanting to JOIN the relationship (i.e. make it a threesome) rather than wanting to take Asuka's place, and Asuka's response to Rei in page 13 had her expressing that she wants Shinji for herself, but would rather let Rei join in because she'd feel worse for making Rei suffer.

So yeah, if I could I'd scrounge up the money to find someone else to do a more faithful translation. This is one major reason why I try to steer away from Doujin-Moe's translations; they pretty much ALWAYS take considerable liberty with their work, more often than not losing or adding stuff for no good reason.

You guys may want to know that Danbooru has a whole image pool for a rather long, multi-part comic series done by the same author (all published for free on Pixiv) featuring those two in largely non-porn scenarios that persumably take place before this comic. All of them have been soft-translated; I'm just praying for the day some generous soul does a hard translation and put it up so that people like me can download and store it for offline consumption.

For the record, Tomatte Moushon's couple featured in one of the colored stories of Sakari Sakarare; the girl had a sexy tan that fit the beach setting, incidentally. If anyone knows if those two feature in other stories, please share with the rest of us.
