West Ham Till I Die : West Ham 2 Birmingham 1: Spector-tastic!

are we all watching the same player? before Noble got injured he was a revelation in the centre of the park with Parker. Get over his pace, he doesn't have it. But makes up for it in pure skill. vision and effort, the same can't be said for all the other over paid 'stars' we have. 4mil? tell Pulis to stick to signing rugby players

I've just heard that Grant is out.. Hughton is going to get the job. The sources are very close to the club, if this is the case I think it is a weak decision from the club, but Hughton could be the man for the job.. he certainly would get his head down and get on with the huge task at hand

West Ham Till I Die : For Once Lady Luck Smiles on West Ham

no worries ian, i think we need to start looking at players who are hungry for game time (O'hara, Kranjcar) or are proving themselves to be a real force (Taarabt, Dorans & Morrison for West Brom), most of the players we are being linked to seem like they are looking for a pay day and most Hammers fans are sick of this being the case, (Ljungberg being a fine example) I just hope Gollivan target the right players in January, Ba would be a good loan/buy in my opinion, Cole and Piq certainly aren't working and he is impressing in the bundesliga, a physical league much like the PL

West Ham Till I Die : 78% Say No to Allardyce

Paul Lambert gets your vote, a manager who has achieved promotion in League One.. and West Ham are bottom of the premiership. They wouldn't even guarantee a good promotion push like an established manager like Big Sam or even Hughton would.. he would only bring in Championship class, working for West Brom at the moment, but in our position that really isn't the call that needs to be made

West Ham Till I Die : Latest Developments: Goodbye Cole, Hello Yak?

I agree with you that cashing in on an injury prone Carlton Cole would be a good idea, but only if the right replacement is available, which i don't think is the case at the moment. However, he had a strong season last year, and is looking sharp in pre season. Maybe not going to the world cup did him some good. But as for not playing with a target man, we play attractive football at times, but we aren't an arsenal and last season showed us that playing gritty gets you points, the zola 'free flowing' football hasn't worked thus far.

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: WHU v Bolton Player Performances

appreciate your views and you're right, he makes too many mistakes, steve clarke should know better too. we'll see what the board do, our club is far has far too much instability in it right now to get rid of a manager and get new owners in, we don't want to end up like Portsmouth, we shall see. Survival is the main priority, defiantly wasn't expecting that at the start of the season

I dont think getting rid of zola is the answer. Yes we are playing awful in defence right now but some things need to be changed. Tomkins and Gabbidon are awful at the back, they lack the leadership qualities that Upson and Collins do. Da Costa looks like the real deal, he's young, strong and of course he has made a few mistakes but he looks like a better bet than the Tomkins Gabbidon pairing. The team looks very low on confidence, Collison, Illunga, Noble dont look like the same players they did last year, but a new manager is not the solution. We need to stand behind zola, he pullled it out the bag last year and with a few signings in January and hopefully keeping Cole, Upson and Green. Parker is the 1 player that cannot go, he is solid and cant see a team working without him.
