You'll need to do all of the quests by Papa Smurf and the other Smurfs in order to get the ship that gets you to the island. Mountain and planet will be unlocked by other quests after that. And it might take you a few weeks.
Until you've unlocked the island/mountain/planet Feathers cannot fly you there.

If you already had access to the other areas and lost it with the latest update: please, contact Beeline's customer support.

I'm having the same problems. Most of the time it happens with crops that take a long time to grow. So my explanation would be, that Fortune Tellers predictions last for 24 hours, and if I have to plant pumpkins a few hours after Fortune Tellers inner clock started, he will change his task before my pumpkins are ready. I hope this makes sense?
He never changes his tasks with shorttime crops like cucumbers or straberries ...

I haven't heard of problems with character limit lately. There are some special items or special Smurfs that count towards the character limit. In the mainvillage it's snails and caterpillars for example but also the yellow dragon costume or Finance Smurf count towards the limit.
The critter dome on the planet seems to be buggy. For me, it sometimes shows my critters and sometime not. Normally closing the app will bring them back.

You open your friends list. From there you can visit random villages. You only can rate random villages with the "thumbs up" symbol in the lower left corner of a random village.

Just try to finish one wonder at a time. Don't try to complete them all. The best way to finish the old ones is to dig on the mountain and to clear craters in space every half an hour. Scuba Smurf on the Island is very helpful, too. If you need money for digging, use the sandbox trick. Take the game with you, while you watch tv and you'll be able to finish the wonders.

There have been problems with the rafts lately. In some cases they come back earlier and maybe that's why you cannot complete your task. I would try to send out two rafts again and not enter the island in the next 24 hours. Maybe the task will be finished after the regular 24h dye voyage.
