whatever floats your boat man. just gets a bit annoying when people dismiss a ship that you like. Even though that's clearly what the picture/comic is for.

But EqG might just be a side effect of what drove Lauren away. Because Hasbro planned to put Cadence in the show to sell toys and clearly Lauren didn't want any other Alicorns in the show.

Ultimately, she came to realize she wouldn't be able to do anything about it because it's Hasbro's show and they call the shots. So after she left, Hasbro came up with the idea of EqG

talking about only one aspect of pandering, In my opinion.

Derpy is becoming the Stan Lee of mlp. what I'm talking about is that the first time Stan Lee appeared in a Marvel movie is in the first Spider-Man movie where he saves some girl from some falling debris. He only shows up briefly to save her and it was a clever way to give a little Easter Egg to the fans of comic books. It was a cute little addition where you had to really look out for him. Skip to modern day Marvel where now you always expect Stan Lee in every Marvel movie, it's almost like they're filling a quota when they add him in.

Now I'm not saying that Derpy and Stan Lee are being used in the exact same way, but now whenever Derpy is shown on screen, I'm not really surprised by her appearance nor effected by it. like in Rainbow Falls to be exact. I just want her to be another Easter Egg again.

It's hard to answer this because people have very different ways when regarding the personality of these two. Both of them have almost no personality, so we inject our own interpretation on them.

For me, it would have to be romantically.

You really can't blanket parents into being caring and supportive of their kids.

Just a month ago, transgender teen Leelah Alcorn committed suicide because her parents mentally abused her in trying to convince her that she was a male and should act like one. Link: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2014/12/30/t...

There's also the organization know as million moms that protested against a show that had a lesbian couple in it.

Anyways, I'm not saying that all parents are dick heads. I'm just saying there's enough of them to cause their voice to be heard.

Knowing how moms and such freaked the fuck out over derpy, I can't imagine how they would react to a blatant LGBT couple on the show. Either than that, if they pulled it off, I would be supremely surprised if they did.

One of my favorite ships as the header picture for a shipping discussion :)

I see shipping as a pure fun. It's a "what-if" scenario about romance with fictional characters. I think that's what people who dislike shipping don't see half of the time.

As for my favorites, it would have to be: Twilestia, Rarijack, Flutterdash, and Octascratch

Wouldn't it be awesome if Trigger (Gainax) made their own version / parody of MLP? I'd watch it in a heartbeat.
