Several years ago, there was an email circulating our neighborhood about "Internet Safety" that was basically the same thing. It oddly alternated between the predator's point of view and third person omniscient, and it had the creepy stalker guy catch the girl and then Surprise! He's actually a police officer who goes around kidnapping kids at their parents' request..and something about her posting too much on Facebook...
It was a masterpiece of incoherence and stupidity.

I love how she feels the need to specify "clean" water in this section. It makes me wonder what she says in the rest of the book...

My roommate in college had an album called "Pachelbel's Greatest Hit", which was 6 or 7 different arrangements of Pachelbel's Canon. She got it for the cover art: a cannon cart stacked with 6-7 barrels facing opposite directions.
