The whole point is that it's all opinionated what worth is to each individual. A PS3 to one person being $600 at launch was justifiable, while to another it wasn't. Just like a 360. You say that you don't think the 360 is worth its money, however to someone else, its a great deal....There is no reason to try and point fingers at someone who paid $60 for ODST and say you have no value of money for the same reasons stated above. If someone is an early adapter and or doesn't want to wait for the price to come down, then who is anyone to say what is right or wrong with purchasing it? Everyone has their own wants and needs and a price to which they are willing to pay for their wants and needs....

As for mikemadden, i am surprised that someone who is clearly an ignorant troll can get his panties in a bunch so easily.

All cars in a selected group. Now since the game has been announced to be launched in March of 2010, maybe he will add mechanical damage to every car, BUT realistically i don't see it happening. Adding more poly's onto 950+ cars, and adjusting the physics for each car, then polishing it all up to look proper...i just don't see that there is enough time from now till March to do it.

But i could be wrong, i'm not a developer for PD.

You might wanna re-read that article that you are posting...
"is Polyphony Digital restricted from showing “full” damage on street cars due to manufacturer licensing issues, or would it simply take too long to implement such severe deformation on GT5’s diverse catalog of nearly 1,000 vehicles?"

They were actually talking about the race cars such as Nascar can Rally cars. "full" damage will NOT be in the manufactured cars. There have been plenty of videos out that show this already.

It has also been confirmed that street cars will not have "full" damage according to this quote....
"IGN editor Ryan Clements entered the GamesCom show floor this morning, and headed straight for the Gran Turismo booth. After admiring the game’s new damage features, he got to talk with Kazunori Yamauchi and asked him to clarify some of the questions that were raised yesterday. As many expected, not all of the cars in the game will feature damage:

“The next detail Kazunori touched on was regarding damage models. I can confirm that not every car in Gran Turismo 5 will sport damage models — it will only be select sets. However, Kazunori has yet to decide on a finalized list of featured car types for damage support.”

That’s consistent with Yamauchi’s previous comments, when he mentioned that only “race cars” could be damaged in the game. Unfortunately, he also confirmed that Porsche have chosen not to join the Gran Turismo series, signing an “exclusive arrangement” with other parties. That’s strange, though, because we already know that Porsche’s cars will be in both the upcoming Forza 3 and Need for Speed: Shift - games made by two different publishers. It looks like the mystery surrounding Porsche and their involvement (or lack thereof) with the GT series will continue to puzzle us fans for quite some time. Perhaps, one day, we will learn the full story…"

Oh so now its a bad thing to have money and to purchase goods and services that you actually want? It's his money, why does it concern you what he spends his money on? With your logic, than you must think purchasing a PS3 at launch when there were no games for it was also not knowing what the value of money was then huh? Since you could have bought the same damn console 6 months later at $100 cheaper.

I don't recall Tor saying that he was on their podcast. So should he have to mention what other sites say that he has no affiliation with now? He "knows" those and have met those that are on games on smash, so that is why he was making his comments about their agenda. Why would he talk about other sites and their views is he has nothing to do with them? According to you, he has to know what is going on with every site now and swoop in like some kind of masked crusader and set the fanboys straight on every internet site on the internet. Give your head a shake mikemadden.
