They are a pretty well know tag team on the Indys with a good fanbase. They were known as Ohio is 4 killers, or the Irish Airbourne. They have wrestled for CZW, ROH, IWA MS, and CHAKIRA. Also LAX had the titles for a long time. Just because you don't watch other promotions doesn't mean other don't.

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Baszler and really would have preferred Storm or LeRae. That being said I don't think she is anywhere near as bad as this article makes her out to be. I watched the finals. They put on a decent match. Thing is about pro athletes, especially ones in combat sports, is they tend to pick up pro wrestling REAL quick IF they are willing to learn. Look at Ken Shamrock, Kurt Angle, and even more recently look how awesome DeAnglo WIlliams did in his only match with just 3 weeks of training. If she goes into NXT with a good attitude and learns from those their she has potential to be an amazing talent in a year or so.

Now onto Kairi Sane. I hear alot of people call her a "Asuka Replacement" or a "Asuka knockoff" and personally not just do I think that that couldn't be farther from the truth, I think that it is straight out racist. They have NOTHING in common. Asuka was billed as a straight up Brock Lesnar style badass and worked alot as a tweener and sometimes even a heel. Kiari Sane is a happy fun character, much in the same way as Bayley was in NXT, with a fun sailor gimmick some actually pretty cool reasoning and background behind it. All they have in common is that they are Japanese. Being Japanese does not make them the same. Calling her a "Asuka Replacent" is like calling Shinsuke Nakamure a "KENTA Replacement." And it is WAY too early to point to a undefeated streak as a similarity. She hasn't even competed in NXT yet. While I'm sure she wont loose for a bit there in no way they are doing another undefeated streak gimmick this soon. And of course she is undefeated now. She won the tournement and anyone with half a clue new she would. From the moment they announced her it was clear she would win. WWE didn't sign Kairi Sane to replace asuaka, they singed her because she is one of the best female wrestlers in the world with a gimmick that will easily get over with both kids and hardcore fans during a time when Japanese wrestling has never been more popular (just look how NJPW shirts are doing at Hot Topic)

Also the fake injury stuff is some conspiracy level bullcrap. Not saying it ddn't work out well for WWE. But like every major wrestling site has said it was real and none are reporting it as fake. Even Meltzer confirmed it. No way in hell it wouldn't have leaked by now. Plus you can even see where it happened.

When you look at Kurt's personal problems he admits to going though at the time and how he let them affect his family i don't think you can say he was blameless in his wife leaving him for jarrett.

Until he actually provides those photos, there is still no proof. Saying you have evidence when their is none is the same strategy McCarthy used.

And family just aren't credible in these kind of things. My cousin's wife's family accused him of abuse and even spousal rape when he got divorced. Thankfully they couldn't get their stories straight at the police station and the cops were able to catch them in a lie. Stuff like that happens alot. And half the time the family doesn't even know what they are saying is incorrect. When you are that close to the situation its easy to get facts twisted. As of know the cops have cleared him, she was the one who was suspected of spousal abuse, and there have been no other incidents. So as of now we have no reason to believe he has been abusive. Maybe he has. But for now we have to wait for more evidence to come to light.

So as an update, the police have recently said that they dropped the investigation into Patron and Paige is the only remaining suspect. Appears that they believe she is solely responsible and that he was innocent.

Actually the police have dropped the investigation into Patron. Paige is now the only suspect. He's been cleared.

Kind of doubt they would want her as things seem to be going down the shitter with her and El Patron and Patron is one of their top stars. Unless they made up then I doubt they would want to cheese off their star by bringing her in.

What proof is there that he has ever abused her. This has been the only domestic incident and she was the one who did the attacking. The only one to say he has been abusive has been Paige's brother and that just isn't a credible source.

Jinder being given the title was a bad idea. But I will take it a step farther and say that it was just a continuation of the already bad idea that was putting the title on Orton in the first place. Bray was ready to take smackdown in a very different direction. All WWE had to do was let Orton put him over and cement him as a main eventer. After giving the title to orton then trading The Miz and Wyatt so orton had no real interesting opponents, Jinder winning wasn't really that big a deal. There was no real winning in that situation. After the Brand split I gave both show a try after quiting both of them for MONTHS. Raw started OK then faltered so I dropped it from my weekly viewing after a few months. But Smackdown had me hooked. I also watch GFW and LU and I love both of them but Smackdown quitckly overtook both and became my fav show. Now I have had to quit watching it as well. I just recently started back with Raw again because of watching clips of all the amazing stuff Joe had been doing with Lesnar and cuz of how awesome Braun has been. Might start watching smackdown again if the rumored Nak vs AJ fued gets going for summerslam. Their WK match was one of my favs.

I get where people are coming from here. I personally just dont see enough evidence of actual abuse to want to hang the dude just yet. IMO it could just very well be they are in a shitty relationship which involves screaming matches in airports. I think the truth of the matter will likely come out soon enough. Only a matter of time before video shows up or a police report comes out.
