If politicians believe their ideas are good and will help the country, they should have to deal with their decisions and go back to the private sector...no more "career politicans for life". I don't agree that the politicians should work for free (many smart capable people would be turned away by this) but I don't think it should be a guaranteed salary. If they achieve the goals they set out from the beginning of their term and they do good work then they recieve their pay in form of a bonus....you know kind of like the AIG executives!!!
