I feel like I'm in a nightmare from which I can't wake up. Yesterday I learned about our new "science czar" who believes we need to introduce something into the water or food supply to render human male sperm sterile in order to affect population control and today our President of the United States is talking about mandatory "end of life" counseling. Being 57 years old, I wonder how long it will be before they knock on my door. I plan on living to at least 90 and I don't need or want the Federal government mandating how long I can live. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Same here as well. We have a lot of problems in this country that should take precedence over this debate.
I am what you may call a frustrated patriot. The liberal, progressive, left wing or whatever the word of the day is point of view is that everyone deserves equal rights, the right to own a home, the right to healthcare coverage, etc. And these are good, important issues but the Federal Gov''t. should not and must not be allowed to mandate laws as regards these issues. The responsibility lies with the States and their towns to individually address these issues as they relate to each State respectively. The Federal Gov't has consistently proven its lack of expertise in running any kind of business. It needs to keep its nose out of the housing, banking, automotive and insurance industries at the risk of ruining us all.
What irritates me the most is that we have become so dependent on China that we are too chicken to simply state that we will not tolerate these missile "tests" by the North Koreans. Instead, we have been reduced to "wimps" because China now OWNS us! How sad is that? God Help America.
I agree. It's not popular to criticize and we are advised that with the new Obama "internet safety" program in place that we'll be watched. I think it's to make us scared. But you know what? I have a right to free speech and if I don't like Obama and what he is doing to destroy this country, I have every right (for now) to express that. Until my right of free speech is taken away from me, I will continue to shout as loud as I can about all the wrongs being done to America by this narcissistic, crazy administration.
I have a question Glenn, and I hope you can help me out. When it is clear that the White House is unconstitutionally appointing "czars" to the White House that oversteps the congress, what can we the people do to stop it? The fact they are bypassing Congress and Congress itself isn't doing anything about it...what CAN we do? When the President or Congress breaks the laws of the Constitution of the United States of America, isn't there something that can be done? I think we Americans feel we should do something and actually, KNOW we should do something, but the Feds have been in control of our lives for so long, I don't think we know collectively when and if we have the power to stop it. Yes, we can vote, but that takes years. Is that our only recourse?
Geez...don't we have enough problems in the country without the mainstream media taking good reporting time to cover something like this? Nevermind...we all know the answer. Duh!!!
I thought it was most interesting that he denied his Muslim roots until it was time for him to visit those countries. And we are supposed to just ignore that. We are just not as dumb and he or his White House thinks we are. Those of us who know who he REALLY is and what his true agenda is have not been fooled...just not believed. By the time the rest of America wakes up, I hope it's not too late.
I agree with you but more disturbing is that within 5 months into office, he has also set back relations with Israel, England and many of our staunch allies while he bows to the Saudi king and tells Iran its' okay to produce nuclear weapons. Anyone who believes that he is condoning nuclear energy ONLY for Iran has been living under a rock somewhere. Iran sits on an ocean of oil! Why the heck do they need nuclear energy? I'm certainly not as stupid as Obama thinks we TRUE Americans are. I pray America as a whole isn't either.
I dunno, how big a suitcase do you need to hide $134 BILLION? I'd do some more research on this.
