Kinda surprised he didn't mention project scope, which is a huge issue that's giving me red flags. ...Well, aside from the silly way they're describing the features--overly vague and sensationalist to the point of sounding like something from a third-rate marketing department.

I really have a hard time swallowing that they'll be able to put in all of that in only four years' time without cutting stuff from the design doc (happens all the time, which leads me to believe even more that this is rather bogus). I mean, really, a new engine, along with a whole crapload of new assets? By 2014? One does not simply do all of that in four years. We all saw how SS got delayed simply because of the change in art style and how TP got delayed due to what was basically porting to the Wii with motion controls tacked on.

Only time will tell, I suppose, so I suggest keeping expectations modest.

Looks like the vocal brony minority's being confused for the quiet majority again.

I guess I am probably blind to the worst that's happened on the Internet because of them (and it does sound like I should count myself lucky), but honestly, the antibrony sentiment's getting a little old, too. Just sayin'.

True, but whether or not it works well is irrelevant in my statement--just as long as it works, period, and that the "will always be weaker" part is shown to be false when the same mechanics are applied to legendaries.

Still, perhaps I exaggerated a mite when I included the "godlike status" bit... XD
