Starting a blog is really quite simple. While there are several free ways to do it, they are not real domain locations. In other words, you are piggy-backing on another server, such as XXXXX.Blogspot.com. The better way to go is to check out Blue Host and Word Press. Do a little research and you'll find it a simple matter to purchase your very own domain name, an actual Dot Com address, and then begin learning how Word Press can help you enhance your site with a library of easily installed widgets that do much of the work for in regarding making your site functional, fun and productive.

Excellent point. You are correct. Facebook, and indeed all social networking sites, are a fantastic medium for sharing conservative ideas, making new friends, and ultimately knitting our line in the proverbial sand tighter. Bad metaphor, but you know what i mean. :)

You R not alone Melinda. In fact, U R part of the majority in this country of center-right focused voters. All that work that U do, that U mentioned, was not for nothing. It matters. U matter. Often, with a liberal media hell-bent on supporting the current intern we have as President, reports on everything but that which is most important. Imagine if Bush were President and a massive, organic groundswell of voter organized against him. The media would embrace him. Wake up and realize that being part of the the Rebel Force isn't easy. We so appreciate your efforts. Do not lose your fire.

Thanks for the kind words. In referencing the quote: "Programs, agendas and policies must be judged, not on their intent, but on their outcome. If something isn't working, it should be changed," you struck on something that has been really important to me pollitically for many years. Not only is outcome important, but the level of respect accorded taxpayer dollars is equally vital.
I wish elected officials would give the same consideration to specific programs and general funding as they would if it were their own money being spent. Similarly, if something isn't working, change it. Obama spoke of such a fiscal strategy repeatedly during the campaign but as yet I see no evidence toward that end.
