Hey Everyone, Im about to unlock my iphone for the first time but I have a few questions first just so I make sure I dont brink my phone. Any good advice would be greatly appreciated I have an iphone 3G with FW 2.2.1 From what I have read including on this very page is , 'Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0' which is great but when I try update using itunes (because when I search for advice on updating to 3.0 thats all that seems to come up) it only offers to update to 3.1.2 and I know one should not do that. Can I use quickpwn or pwnage tool (got both windows and mac) to update to the older firmware? How do I update to 3.0? The rest seems pretty straight forward and what not. Can anyone shed some light on this?
