Yes I agree. But remember that a lot of people were arested for protesting the Vietnam war too. But it did have a profound effect on the situation as a whole.

You know its so easy for the Government to sit back and not worry about closing the Border. They don't live on the Border. But Texans do. And Texans should be very upset about all of the traffic coming in and out of Mexico every minute of every hour.

BUT, just a thought here. What if Texans just showed up in force, and blocked off the roads comming in and out of Mexico. And I wonder how many more Americans would show up to support the people of Texas.

I really like your idea of shutting down congress, and esspecially the idea of masses of Americans blocking them out in protest. And just to add my own thought. I would like America to demand the termination of 4 of them right off hand. Termination, rather than resignation, Termination, and all benefits CUT!
To be honest , seriously, The president, and everyone that voted for that first UN-RED Stimulus, should all be dissmissed, and benefits CUT, and they should feel lucky, to get off that light.
