I am a female and I guess I do feel like a mother alligator. The government is messing with my children (and everybody elses) and it just irratates the hell out of me. But your right, our voice will get louder and sooner or later they will have to listen to us. Thank you for your vote of confidence, and NO I will not lose faith. Right now thats all we have!
Just got through sending all my florida representatives "another email" requesting their assistance in saying NO. Maybe one day they'll get tired of the emails and they actually will say No.
I'm so overwhelmed and upset by the people we've chosen to represent us in the congress and senate. What is wrong with these people? Why can't they listen to us and do what we"ve elected them to do (which is represent us)? They instead have a case of peer pressure and fold to what "the others" are doing. Do we not teach our children to be their own persons? Do we not teach them to think for themselves and to do right by themselves and others, even if it's hard and some may not agree? How can we ask that of them when the people running (or ruining) the country are only in it for themselves. I want my country back! I don't want Cap & Trade. I don't want Health reform. I don't want amnesty. I want my freedom and my liberty! I want it for my kids and grandkids(when they get here). I feel like my voice is going unheard. Whats it going to take, when will they finally listen?
Why can't we post anything on here today? I've tried to post twice now and neither one have come up, and all the posts I see have been from hours ago? Is something wrong?
Focus, focus, focus on the Cap & Tax issue thats coming up this week, the government is trying to side track you right now with the Health Care issue, we've got to stop this first. Then we can move on to the next battle. Call your reps and let them know now you feel. We CAN do this if we try hard enough and believe in ourself and our country. Our founding fathers never gave up and we can't afford to either.
I know everyone is focusing on the Health Care issue, but what we need to be focusing on RIGHT THIS MINUTE is the Cap & Tax issue that is going to be passed this week if we don't get involved and let it be heard that we want NO PART OF IT!!!! The government wants you worried about something else thats coming at a later date so that you"ll miss whats going on NOW. Read about it and voice your opinion before it's to late. We need to focus on what battle is waging this week, this moment in time. Lets win the battles so that eventually we can win the WAR!!!!
Gang, I'm reading Glenn's book right now and it's WONDERFUL! It's unreal just how much he "GETS" it. It's so nice though, to know that I'm not the only one thinking and feeling this way. My suggestion to anyone who hasn't read it yet....go out and buy it, it's well worth the money and the effort it takes to find it (I went to several stores and it was sold out ).
