KIMA - Yakima, WA : Washington Bans Lead Wheel Weights | KIMA CBS 29 - News, Weather and Sports - Yakima, WA - Yakima, W

I want to see the science on this. Oh wait these same idiots want to ban lead in guns so now only criminals will have guns that work so how does that consequence feel to you when you get robbed at the shopping center??? Yeah banning wheel weights makes sense for our legislature how about we ban idiocy in the legislature and fine them when they expose themselves. The budget would be balanced a lot faster. Our law enforcement officers have a better job to do than to determine if your wheels are rolling with lead. Since a lot of those custom wheels use a tapeon weight on the inside of the wheel so this legislative regulation fails to reduce anything except the pockets of the automotive public. How about we reduce the speed limit so that the weights stay on the rim and it will reduce fatality on the freeway...

KIMA - Yakima, WA : Real-life member of \'Sound of Music\' family dies | KIMA CBS 29 - News, Weather and Sports - Yakima

I'm sorry for your temporary loss and pray that God has been prosperous to you and your family. I have enjoyed the Movie some having my own relationship with Salzburg and the streets where the movie was filmed on were near to where my Grandmother lived and the Horse fountain and other spots around town would remind me of my time with her and the rest of my extended family that still lives there.

KIMA - Yakima, WA : State Cuts Could Leave Thousands In the Valley Without Health Insurance | KIMA CBS 29 - News, Weathe

Well lots of "News" is spun up with words that have more power to get you to stay tuned to the show. Titles are especially suspect then. Fischer is not beyond that, they do it in Seattle so doing it in Yakima is just company policy and good "journalism". It gets you to either read the story or listen to the news cast. Just hope that the reporting is close to even what the headline is trying to tell you.

KIMA - Yakima, WA : Gregoire says nuclear energy must be considered | KIMA CBS 29 - News, Weather and Sports - Yakima, W

Well if Dems had not shut down the Nuclear Energy plants in the 70's we would already have nuke energy in the NW and Washington. Plus maybe even lower electric rates but that one you can't count on since ROI is fungible and cost over runs are inevitable when you don't completely vet the Contractor on the project and if he is following regulations and not short cutting the process because he cut his bid below the cost necessary to build a safe and reliable facility.

KIMA - Yakima, WA : Is Job Market Really at its Worst? | KIMA CBS 29 - News, Weather and Sports - Yakima, WA - Yakima, W

Looks like more smoke and mirrors, reminds me of the Wizard of OZ... The new president needs to tell the truth more often instead of the hyperbole that is coming out now. And loose the anger, we are a free Republic with the Constitutional right to free thought, speech and actions. There was a nation once that required all its citizens to follow one way of thought, that was the National Socialist Party of Germany nicknamed N A Z I....
