Everyone's saying there's a rise in anti-Semitism in throughout the western world. They're right !

People all over the world are saying they don't like it when the Jews blow up Palestinians.

As usual, the protesters are saying that it's not anti-Semitism and, as usual, the Jews are saying that it's not justified

Both are lying. It is anti-Semitism and it is justified.

This is not just a protest against Israel. It's not even just a protest against Jewish support for Israel. This is a protest against years and years of Jews telling everyone that black is white and, far worse, telling everyone that they'd better believe that black is white - or else.

Oppose Jewish power. Dismantle the Jewish state. Free Palestine.

In a month of indiscriminate bombardment, Israel has killed or injured almost twelve thousand people, including thousands of children. It has severely damaged or destroyed the homes of some 17,000 families (over 100,000 people). It has terrorized half a million people into flight from one corner of the tiny coastal enclave in which they are trapped to another, leaving them in urgent need of food assistance merely to survive. Schools, clinics, refugee shelters, hospitals, ambulances, a university campus and Gaza’s only power plant have all come under Israeli fire, sometimes repeatedly. UN schools designed to accommodate 500 people as emergency shelters have been packed with up to 3,000. The social infrastructure—already strained to its limits by years of siege—is close to breakdown. Hospitals have run low on urgent supplies including water and fuel for emergency generators. Morgues were filled; the broken bodies of Palestinian children ended up in ice-cream counters that—in a just world—would be those same children’s sources of delight.

Of the fatalities whose identity and status have been verified so far, 86 percent are civilians, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Of those tabulated in its most recent update, 226 are members of armed groups; 459 are children.

Despite the sheer scale of the catastrophe it has inflicted on Gaza, Israel failed to attain a single one of its ever-shifting array of declared objectives (which ranged, according to Israel’s whims, from stopping rocket fire to completely demilitarizing the Gaza Strip).

Thank you, Firyal. For seven decades the Jews have been waging war on the people of Palestine. The barbaric attack on Gaza is just the most recent episode of genocide, ethnic cleansing. I am unaware of any animal that is as cruel as the Israelis -- not even crocodiles. They bomb schools, hospitals, refugee camps, orphanages, UN feeding stations, water works, power stations, ambulances, kids playing on the beach. They put millions of people in siege. They shoot children going to school. They murder by land sea and air. And worst of all they slander their victims as "terrorists."

oh la la ! as the French would say, Ms. Sandler misses the point of the BDS movement that seeks to end the Jewish state. We don't want to end Israel cause it's so good, but because it's so bad. In 1948 the world witnessed the formation of two systems of racial discrimination, which later became known as apartheid. The apartheid systemin South Africa was based on white supremacism, while the apartheid system in Israel is based on Jewish supremacism. In the 1980's world opinion focused on South Africa, and, after decades of struggle, justice prevailed and the formal system of apartheid eas eventually dismantled. As the world focuses on the injustices and atrocities committed by Israel to maintainJewish rule, that apartheid system, will be dismantled. and so, sooner or later, Israel established as the Jewish state, will cease to exist and probably a majority of it's citizens will choose another name besides "Israel", maybe they will choose "Free Palestine".

The Jews have been doing systematic genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid to the Palestinians for over 67 years. Yasmin Qureshi shouldn't apologize for telling the truth. The Jews should say they're sorry to the Palestinians and end the horrific zionist project that is the Jewish state of Israel.

Nope, Zionism in all it's versions (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist?) is a bad idea. But Jewish Zionism has obviously been very successful and effective in establishing a Jewish supremacist state ethnically cleansing the indigenous people to do it. So why not choose Jewish Zionism in the USA to confront?

Thanks for your letter -- it says what I and and other anti-Jewish-Zionists have been saying in our synagogue vigils: "It is a serious mistake for Jews to support Israelis in their brutal occupation of Palestinian land simply because they are Jewish." Besides morally condemning this stance by Jews to support Israel, it is important to recognize that in fact, a majority of Jews take this stance: Jews support the Jewish state BECAUSE they are Jewish! Typical (most) Jewish congregations display the Israel flag on the bema in the sanctuary, say prayers for Israel, solicit funds for Israel, organize support as "Stand with Israel" events, and integrate with the political Jewish lobby represented by the Jewish Federations of North America, the JNF, AIPAC, etc. Public opinion polls confirm that a majority of Jews support Israel.

So good for you: we need more people (including Jews) to call out Jewish Zionism for what it is: morally corrupt racism.

However, I suggest different terminology in your attack on Jewish Zionism. I think it misleads to say Jews support "Israelis". (about 20% of Israelis are Palestinian! and the majority of Jews sure don't support those "Israelis.") Jews support Jews and by Zionist extension, the Jewish state of Israel. If anyone doubts this, please read Max Blumenthal's recent book, Goliath. What we in the Palestinian solidarity movement and the BDS movement should be saying is renounce support for "Israel" (not "Israelis"), and "end the Jewish state."

The only terrorists in Nablus are Israeli Jews.

Reform Jews and everybody else should stop talking about the "peace process" as if a "two-state" solution still exists. The possibility to create a viable Palestinian state ended long ago with Israel's continued ethnic cleansing and settlement building. The only option now is to end the racist, Jewish supremacist state, allow refugees to return and establish a real egalitarian state of Palestine based on human rights, one-person/one-vote.

Hagel speaks truth: there is a "Jewish lobby" organized as AIPAC, ADL, Jewish Federations, etc. The statement doesn't suggest that ALL Jews are defenders of Israel. But everyone knows that many (most?) Jews unconditionally support the criminal, racist state of Israel.
