KATU - Portland, OR : What you need to know about swine flu | KATU.com - Portland, Oregon | Health

I don't think it's wrong to inform people about the risk though. From a public health perspective, it is important to be cautious and take the appropriate precautions to avoid getting sick and spreading the flu to others. Like we all know, cover your coughs and wash your hands. Sure, thousands of people get the flu each year, but the difference is that with swine flu, should your symptoms become progressively worse and worse, there is no official remedy or vaccine to it. Be smart, and stay home if you get sick. Take care of yourself... if it's nothing, well that's great. Your body will still thank you for the time to rest and recoup.
