Elliot, the reason this website even exists it to help you see the error of your anallisis, and to help you grow into a truely wise young man, rather than someone who simply parots what he hears others say,. If you truly believe that socialism is better, then we can have that discussion. But if you are only here to disrupt the rest of us who care about our future and the future of our children, then you are part of the problem. Therefore, i suggest that you rethink your aproach.
There is no way thie border will ever be sealed under these conditions. Even though there is a wall going up down there, they've already found tunnels under it, and it's not even finished! The real problem is Mexico and it's non-existant regard for their own population, and a preference for U.S. dollars. Maybe when our dollar becomes worthless, will there be second thoughts about crossing into a country that is almost as bad off as where you are. Then you have the terrorists who may or may not be crossing, and/or smuggling dangerous substances like drugs or explosives, or even bio-weapons. If the feds were really concerned with security, that would have been the first thing to do after 9-11. Blind or currupt, it really doesn't matter. The results are the same. DANGER.
Wherever he got his money, there is nothing we can do about it now. Soros (almost a double palendrome, (made up?)) has more influence than Oprah or Angelina Jolie, or John Stewart, or you name it. He has a very specific agenda, which should be deeply investigated, and exposed. In my opinion, he is working toward the rise of the one world govt. and he knows how to get there. He suports every totalitarian cause in the world. and someone should follow his money to it's extreem reaches. He could be that rich guy in Contact, (yes, unfortunately,i saw it,) who lived in space while manipulating affairs on the earth.
true enough. Remember Ross Perot? He did for the dems in the 90's what nader did for the reps in 2000. If there is going to be a third party, then there must be a massive movement behind it. It will take us years to accumulate such momentum, but in the mean time, we can concentrate on, excuse the expression, bailing out the boat while the govt shoots holes in the hull. If we can hold on to our principals, work hard and stay vocal and active in civics, then that momentum cannot help but grow. We can no longer sit around waiting for a party to come to it's senses when it hasn't had any for many years. Things must change from the ground up, because the dammage has been done to the very foundation.

sounds like you may e overlooking the beechnut plant, and if you are, then im sorry for your whole area. I drive through there several times a year, and it seems like it gets worse all the time. Now it's hurting the surrounding area, having been shut down competely(?) and vacated. I realise we have greater problems in this state that go far beyond infrastructure, and into the realm of deep public policy and the deeper pockets (I.E. tax dollars,) of our elected officials.
I live in upstate New York, and i recently looked at the gas tax ratios for the 50 states. We are at the top of the list...behind Hawaii!!! NO refineries, shipped over thousands of miles of sea, and yet, the state taxes it less.?!?!
But, in contrast, we have one of the poorest infrastructures in the nation. Pot-holes everywhere, poorly repaired half-patches all over the place, not to mention the cavelier way in which they go about those mediocre repairs. Now, maybe it's just here in my county, but we are the poster child for government waste.

You know, even though i completely dissagree with your position on the existence of God, and the belief that anyone who believes such things is a childish fool, i still welcome you to the debate. Now if we can get beyond the vitriole-throwing that many are engaged in, and stop thinking we Christians are stupid and uneducated just because we have seen something that you cant or wont see, and get beyond the rediculous exercise in trying to convince you of something you have no intention of believing, we might just pull this thing off, and make a UNITED voice heard in that pit of vipers that is Washington D.C.
