The real problem I see is GPU, I don't see ivy bridge being able to power ultra high res screens very well.

You're right, I can't really see them converting many iPhone owners with these commercials. I can see them stealing a lot of my friends who have Droids and other Android touting phones.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Bloomberg: iPad 3 production starts for March launch, packs Retina Display, LTE, quad-core chip

Quad-core chip in an iPad before a MacBook Air... Spare me the "That doesn't mean anything" garbage, I know that; however, having known for over a decade that the increases in heat and power consumption are exponentially related to the increase in clock rate, one would have thought that programmers could have adopted their software to be extremely multi-threaded. If they had done so by now, Intel wouldn't need to continue creating ways to keep high clocks for those dated programs (Turbo Boost), and increase the number of cores for those programs that have moved on to the future/present (Hyper-Threading), while managing heat and power consumption. ARM has a significantly easier job than Intel because they can design processors that will not go any higher than 1.6Ghz, and can continue to add more cores. If Intel were to release an 8-core 1.2Ghz processor for high end notebooks, nobody would want it.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Black Friday App Store sale guide- The best deals on iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps

People buy obscene numbers of Apple products, if they lowered their prices they would sell more, and the iPhone 4s's that are currently backed up 1-2 weeks would back up more still. Supply and demand outweigh good will.

It means that your apps on your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac that have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac app as well can use iCloud to sync whatever documents you create in that app e.g. you create a pages document on your iPad and it is wirelessly synced to your Mac.
