ahhh, criticize the gazette in your comment and it suddenly disappears! we have journalistic ingegrity at it's finest, stir up press by putting "emotional debate" in the headline. who said that? was someone quoted calling it that? or did we just make it up so readers flock to a failing paper.

it's creative journalism at it's best. take a story that might get lost on the back page and bump it up by putting "emotional debate" in the headline. this is simply the gazette making mountains out of mole hills.

GazetteOnline.com : Lapdogs create dangers in the driver’s seat

a state law will never pass, pet owners far outnumber the angry letter writers such as duston. this letter is kind of ridiculous. just because you saw it once doesn't mean the others that do it are running stop signs as well. you have no way of telling that it was the dog that caused the driver to miss 2 stop signs you just put that together. who knows if the driver is just terrible with no dogs in the front seat? lastly, if it was dangerous and could've caused an accident, why were you anywhere near the guy?

so you're argument rests on the fact that brian butch might make the nuggets and stiemsma who probably won't make the t-wolves. also you keep referencing jon leuer, who if he stays healthy, could get drafted high. but who has him going high? oh, those mock drafts you knock me for but use to support his case.

so a 6'3'' power forward was an nba prospect? who cares if he was drafted in the first round. also, check your facts he was the 29th pick. all you need is one team to like you. in fact i read that chad ford had tucker going at number 42 in his mock draft that year, a pick that usually means you're bound for europe. also, i pointed out the harris trade because he was so valuable that the mavs traded him after 3 plus years. we can go in circles and still won't agree. plain and simple wisconsin produces good college players. nothing more really. bohannon will never play in the nba, kirk penney was a great shooter, but hasn't gone higher than the d-league. even brian butch who looked like he might buck the trend is just now getting his NBA shot with the nuggets.

i never said iowa produced NBA products but since you asked reggie evans seems to be doing fine making a cool $5 mil playing in Toronto. also, i thought maybe Butler would be an ideal fit since he has a similair frame to Gordon Hayward who was just drafted by the Jazz.

devin harris was picked 5th and traded to the hapless nets for senior citizen jason kidd. i'll give you that one. but alando tucker? seriously you're offering up alando tucker as an NBA prospect? he may have been picked 27th but he's currently out of the league after several d-league stints. check YOUR facts.
