I only take issue with you saying McCain is a gentleman. A real gentleman would have gone to the mat defending his running mate. He let those Judases in his campaign tear her down. He should have ripped them a new one and exposed them and they should never work for any Republican again. They can not tolerate such rank disloyalty. McCain favored staying out of it and letting her go down on her own so he could still be in the good graces of the beltway folks.

I agree that it certainly takes a whole lot of courage to probably finish off her political office future with this, but maybe she'll find a better way to influence outside the system. I do worry that this might embolden those despicable people to use this as a normal part of their attacks. I wonder who they are sharpening their knives for now

Well Mr. Obama probably doesn't have a problem at all with the Iranian elections, they're sqeaky clean by Chicago standards.
Lets hope good prevails in Iran, and Obama and his cronies aren't getting ideas from the mullahs for 2010 and 2012.

I wonder how this squares with McCain/Feingold and other campaign financing restrictions, not that it really matters because they will give some weaslespeak way out of it. But this is clearly an free infomercial, a consideration that is worth however many millions in political contributions. What way if any can we bring the law on this? Can we hoist them on there own petard over this?

As well, the gov't really doesn't seem to really want to get our money back that we threw down the rathole to "rescue" the auto industry. I've got a foreign truck and this sort of action seems to guarantee me never buying domestic again.

Let them plan all they want. I know that no matter how dread and dreary it sounds and looks, that there is still a wide swath of these United States that can out do anybody else in the world, anyway and any time.
