The show (And maybe even the brand itself) probably wouldn't go past the second season without the fandom, the previous iterations (After G1 really) were so bad the profits took a major hit. I'm pretty sure with our rampant consumerism we revived the MLP brand as a whole, not saying the little girls themselves weren't a part of it, but I think we lifted the profit margins enough to have it keep going.

And now for every other character of the mane 6 sounding about the same. Seriously I'm having doubts if Twilight and Dash will work, not the others. Fluttershy and Pinkie are overdone in Japan, the VAs are practically trained to sound like them.

Well, I meant in general and not lately. But I understand your point, I stopped watching anime in 2011 and have become increasingly interested in the newest of Western Animation. I might as well see more cartoons now that I'm waiting for season 4.
Hah, I concur, I've seen the Eleventh Doctor. The writers for his episodes are professional ass pullers, seriously.
I did not mean to imply all anime are good. But I find that, in average, they tend to be better than American cartoons. Things like Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou are just so much more enjoyable to watch and better crafted at times. I do agree it isn't free from being filled with crap either, but it also tends to come in higher number than US cartoons, so there's more chance of bad apples showing up.
Fair points. But in Doctor Who's case, I think they just haven't reached its closure yet. According to its lore, the 13th Doctor should be his last regeneration (They have a 12 regenerations limit). Unless they bullshit us with something, the show should end by then. Admittedly, that will still take a pretty long time.
Uh... bullshit. The Japanese shows are much better than FiM, our little pony show is in no way a "pinnacle of quality", it just stands out because everything else in TV is horrible nowadays. Never watched The Last Airbender? Batman: The Animated Series? Now *those* are shows that dared to be intelligent and push their kids rating with excellent writing, and a good rival for anime.
Also, I've seen weeaboos on this fandom all the time, if they wanted to be bronies they already are.
