The show still went on. I think the response to Charlie is "here we go again." And in a decrepit town like Hollywood, they circle the wagons around their own. It reminds me of "Skills" on One Tree Hill who was convicted of Social Security fraud, yet is filming on the show until it's time to serve his sentence. Even then, they are only writing him as moving out of state for a year. On the flipside, I'm not a golf watcher, but always commended Tiger on his success. Did he really build an image of being spotless or was he just super private? I remember when they got married and the photoshoot with the kids, but other than that, what? He just always struck me as super private. He was never on a pedestal for me. But I do agree that the Drivebys like to bring people down.
