I'm fine with not joining a church that doesn't embrace reality in social issues. The church needs to extend the same courtesy and not meddle in the legal affairs of non-members.

And the day that the rights are actually equal, such separations like this won't be necessary. That's the end goal. As it is, if you were with your loved one and were constantly at risk for a wedding shop saying "We won't help YOUR kind here! Go be lesser citizens somewhere else!" you'd appreciate something like this.

Whether it's his "Let them eat cake." ideas on an economy he doesn't understand because he never has to want for anything or make hard choices about money, or his assumption that tax-paying American citizens shouldn't get the same rights and protections he takes for granted based on his foul church, this man is an insufferable swine that should not be allowed to be called the "leader of the free world" by any stretch of the imagination.

All his economic statements are the same neocon rhetoric about "We can be a great country, but we're all doomed right now" with nothing to back it up. No substance, no plan beyond giving the wealthy even more of a tax break, just pandering with hollow statements while telling entire subsets of the American population that they're not really people.
