Looks like they've been cropped to the same width. As the BNP logo has text alongside it's been reduced to fit a predefined box. Are you really surprised that Jack Straw isn't bothered about the suffering of the animal? Kosher is just as bad. In 2003 an independent advisory group found (at great expense to the tax payer no doubt,) that "the way Kosher and Halal meat is produced causes severe suffering to animals, and "it wanted an end to the exemption currently allowed for Kosher and Halal meat from the legal requirement to stun animals first." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/2977086.stm So why didn't they act on these findings?

That's not PR it's AV (alternative voting), it's no more representative than first past the post. It's just a method of conning people into picking one of the major parties as their 2nd, 3rd ... 5th choice. Must say, I didn't think I'd ever agree with Billy Brag on anything, but he seems to have the right idea on this one.

Ah, Simon, why didn't you let us know you were going to be in Luton? Sorry you didn't feel very welcome, don't take it too personally, neither of my parents will go into town anymore despite having been born and raised there, I try to avoid it as much as possible too. As with many other "culturally enriched" places, most of the true Brits moved out to surrounding areas years ago, leaving the immigrants and lefties to reap the benefits of their creation. Crime, unemployment and all. Not heard the five-live piece yet, but I have no doubt you did us proud and stood your ground.
