Newborns have very small digestive systems, and colostrum delivers its nutrients in a very concentrated low-volume form. Get over it people, nature knows best.

Debark the vet and take away his license. It is cruel to debark a dog, crop their ears or cut off their tails. if dogs were meant to have this done they would have been born this way. Cropping ears and tails is a painful procedure that opens the door to infection and worse yet death from infection. What a wonderful civilized world we live in. My dogs are all happy, wag their tails and perk their ears up just fine without surgical torture.

I have to disagree that this soldier is a traitor. He did what his government trained him to do which is kill. Along with the stress of being in a country where the vast majority hates you, the line becomes blurred at times as to who is the enemy. This man has obviously seen carnage that most of us will never see nor understand and it affects the psyche. As pointed out by other news stories JBLM did a pi$$ poor job tending to the mental health of soldiers that have been deployed multiple times some with little time between deployments. PTSD is a real mental health issue whether some want to believe it or not. This soldier had three deployments in Iraq and was then sent to Afghanistan. He snapped and will never be the same. I see he is married and has children. This will affect those children who will be reminded time and time again in the media and by their peers that their father is a killer, lunatic, psycho and the list goes on. It will also destroy his marriage and any hope for a normal life. Hopefully the military does the right thing, charges him with manslaughter due to temporary insanity. "That mixed with your ignorant closed mindedness makes for an awful digital presence. " I find that conservatives are more likely to be closed minded on any number of subjects. You calling this man a traitor shows an unbounded propensity on your part to have a narrow minded view on this particular subject. and I quote "The soldier needs to be handed over to the Afghanistan authorities and be subjected to justice as THEY see fit. It's out of our hands and we need to immediately disassociate ourselves from his actions. His actions were caused by our governments need to meddle in countries where we are not wanted or needed. Hand him over the the Afghans? Why? So they can torture him? Bury him up to his chest and stone him? That will solve everything.
