Apple made numerous attempt to push the FCC to deem jailbreaking illegal... end result failure. This was a little before the FCC put pressure on Apple for rejecting alot of app without reason google it. (im sure you already did but you should read more than the first two paragraphs before you YELL false claims n00b)

There are two reason why it may not show up for you. 1) you have Tmobile Legacy installed (this gave us mms on 3.0 but does not work on 4.0) solution: uninstall anything that says tmobile in cydia packages. 2) old sim solution: try someone else sim or get a new one from Tmobile. No solution to enable MMS "FULLY" but with the right setting you can mms urself and other iphone. im sure a solution is in the works

No there is no way. Just to update the baseband. Unless you upgrade the whole thing than downgrade it (because the bb would just stay upgraded). There is no benefit in upgrading the BB

i respectfully disagree. I have a 3GS Tmobile 4.0 and cellular data tab is there, There are two reason why it may not show up for you. 1) you have Tmobile Legacy installed (this gave us mms on 3.0 but does not work on 4.0) solution: uninstall anything that says tmobile in cydia packages. 2) old sim solution: try someone else sim or get a new one from Tmobile.

explanation: you are doing something wrong. ***dont restore from backup meaning select new phone** if u dont need the unlock than restore..activate...run spirit (dont download with google chrome)....select new phone nothing extra like quit spirit manually ;-)
