I came in late and just stood there while everyone looked at me. I told them what happened and there was such quiet from normally very vocal young college students. Class was dismissed early and everyone filed out, no one speaking. My parents and their friends can tell you where they were when JFK was assassinated. The Challenger Disaster was our JFK moment. Also, seems I remember the black box was recovered. A voice was heard to say, "Take my hand" which leads me to believe they were alive after the initial explosion.
