This is in regarding a post made about a week ago about a vent to Glenn and the MJ coverage. Granted I expected a thumbs down. In heinsight I should have elaborated more and more been more eloquent.
My beef was not with Glenn but the media in general. It seems that the media has turned into a shark infested feeding frenzy on the MJ thing.
I stand by the 912 values, specifically compassion for fellow men/women. Granted that the 1st Anendment grants us freedom of speech, but it also grants us the right to say things we regret later.
But what you said and posted may bring unwarranted criticism from the far left. We need and want to bring America together, not tear it apart.
Its an undeniable fact that MJ has influenced all of our lives in some way and has crossed political boundaries. The Jacksons are the epitomy of the American Dream. Come on! They rose to fame during segregation for crying out loud!
Regarding compassion, as one who has lost loved ones who are "high profile", seeing and reading "stings" in the media hurts, the family and children suffer.

My vent is to Glenn,
I think you have been too harsh on the MJ coverage. Granted that the wing nuts blocked coverage of your show, and specifically the American Community Survey that I called everyone I knew to watch.,
Please sweetie let it go on the MJ thing. Yes the media has covered this ad nausium but we dont need it with you too. MJ is an icon that had an influence on all of our lives, probably one of the best dancers ever.
I ask that let us mourn Michael and get to politics later.

But our deductible for insurance is $500.
Where I am going with this is wondering where will government stop with their intrusiveness?
I despise the argument "If you have nothing to hide, then it shouldnt be an issue"....
My spouse of 15 years and I have a split level home and have seperate bedrooms. He doesnt even come into my room without permission, and to pretty much have an Insurance Czar forcing their way in is redicilious!

BTW...to any one who is curious, my spouse and I have been together for over 15 years but still are not married and for religious reasons we sleep in seperate quarters.
That being said, I dont let my own spouse (I say spouse b/c we have been together for so long) enter my room, let alone a stranger.

When my spouse and I bought our home we had to undergo a "Piller to Post" inspection with the bank. They inspected this home from stem to stern. About 2 days later, the bank comes back again with 2 new agents who must measure every nook and cranny of the home. Thats all good as we want to know what we are buying and know of its defects and quirks. But what really bothered me was the insurance company that did their "required" interior inspection of the home (scheduled apx 1 month after moving in).One part of the inspection required that they enter my master bedroom to inspect the cabinets under the sinks in my bathroom as well as under the kitchen sink. Ok., I can see an exterior inspection, but a requirement to enter the home to enter and "inspect" private areas after the bank has already done so?

LOL GPC! Civilian MREs = Nutrisystem.
But hey, their dehydrated flame broiled burgers arent bad. Hydrate them in water with A1 peppercorn sauce with grilled onion and Jack Daniels dijon mustard, they arent bad actually. :-)

I take this is in addition to the 3 Army Brigades that are being trained and deployed in the United States to respond to disaster and civil disorder. If you look at history, Adolf Hitler had his brown shirts to assist in local law enforcement in Germany. How do you combat it? The only Constitutional way is to pressure Congress in defeating this or vote them out. People need to look at history and see how it is being repeated. There are two periods of time in World History that we need to look at and learn from those mistakes. One period of history is the 1920s and 30s in Germany, the rise of Hitler. The other period of time is the Fall of the Roman Empire. In this period time, the United States is also mirroring the Roman Empire. If we do not learn from history, we are doom to repeat it.

Yo Glenn,
Did I hear this right today on your program where you said that EPA is permitted to carry weapons but the National Guard volunteers can not? With the amount of violence on the border, that does not make sense. How are they going to defend themselves against the Mexican Military, Zetas, and the new threat to the border from the south. By this, Special Forces Units from Central America that have been corrupted by the Cartels. Are the volunteers going to cut and run or be gunned down? It is safer in Iraq than it is on the border.

I dont know what to say alsacien. Everything that was great about America is being taken away. O's campain professed hope for America, professed jobs, a change that we can believe in.
He even said teachers should be given raises. What a joke! Tuition is skyrocketing and enrollment is down.
My question is, how does one achieve the American Dream nowadays? Become a czar?!?
The promises of jobs and raises for those in teaching are not true. My spouse works for a college and they are cutting back. Stimulus program? For who?!?!

Sorta I guess. I see your post. Mine last post did not. In a way I am glad because it was nothing more than a rant about how invasive insurance providers have become and how they basically do an invasive search of the home.____Anyheeeew. How are you tonight alsacian?
