This link says that the officer refused to believe the girl was related (the daughter) of the owner of the car, and he was already angry with the girls.

He then asked her to take her shoes off, and she kicked them at him, in anger, instead of handing them to her nicely, as he already had been rough and rude to her, even with her being innocent.

Bruner is 6ft 2in, and weighs 195lbs. He says the girl was real lippy and called them fat pigs.

The girl had to have paramedics attend her, as she could not breath after the incident, but not serious enough to be hospitalized--a requirement to have been able to press felony charges against the officer.

LOOK: He shot and fataly killed a mentally ill man, Pedro Jo, during a traffic stop!!! He claimed the mentally ill man tried to strangle him with his cop radio cord! Sure. Pedro Jo ran to his own car, officer Bruner told him to stop, he shot him 11 times.

The girl is not guilty of theft, she was in her parents vehicle. They did not know she and a friend had left in it, reported it stolen.

The precinct 4 that this deputy is in, has many complaints of excessive force. They will be investigating the precint once the trial is over.

I certainly hope the investigators keep their shoes to their self. I hate to imagine what kind of beating they would get by being an adult.
