PowerUp! Coaching : Shocking News Event In Toronto

not sure how that "sums up toronto" - stereotypes and generalizations are dangerous things in my opinion. was just celebrating the great comedy, and the irony of snow being such a surprise to torontonians -- i remember 8 foot snow drifts being normal and even unremarkable in my teen years here. it makes me smile that now, after years of very little snow and short winters, 20cm evokes any response at all. seems like we've gotten a little spoiled... :)

LOL - yes, great line. The dry ironic comedic writing in this clip is through-the-roof good.

I think that's what I find most funny about this video...it's a parody on toronto, on people, and on the media - who can make even the flimsiest of challenges sound like a terrorist attack. Hat's off to Rick Mercer, (The Mercer Report) - one of the smartest funnymen alive.

Good news on that front: the snow hasn't killed tv, cable, and the 'net - so we're good on the hockey fix. Maple syrup is another story though...down to my last half bottle and anxiety levels are gettin' high...

PowerUp! Coaching : Are you doing a Kajabi trial? Share your experience here

Hi Sue, sorry to hear about your experience. I have had excellent response from the support team on my kajabi site, and so far, so have my clients. Not sure why that's happening. If you haven't seen it yet, watch this support video on how to embed a video from another platform: http://support.kajabi.com/entries/296492-how-to-e... Their example uses youtube video player embed code. Follow the video exactl - it's a detailed step-by-step demonstration - but in place of the youtube video player embed code they show in the example, use the embed code that EVP2 produces for you. (Obviously, they can't show demos for every possible video player -- that would be unmanageable, and it's the responsibility of your video player provider to show you how and support you - which they will). Good luck!

Sarah - I understand and totally agree. During the launch, the customer support team was obviously overwhelmed and both the response time and the level of expertise was weak. I have found recently that this is completely different now. We have usually received same-day response lately from the customer support team and they have been both knowledgeable and courteous. MUCH better.

Lorri - I used Kajabi for the recent Video Salesletter Workshop I did (in fact, I'm in the middle of the workshop as we speak). While it's not perfect yet, and still developing, I had a site up and running about 1.5 hours after we finished the launch, and started delivering content the next day. We were going to hire a tech person / web master, but with Kajabi we found we didn't need one. It's so simple to use, and their support desk has been very responsive and timely when we did need them. I think the time and money savings on that alone justified the choice to use KJ. I'm still getting better at using it, but so far I feel like it was a great choice for our workshop. For folks who don't want to go the Kajabi route, I've been recommending they take a look at OptimizePress and WP Wishlist. Not free, but affordable. And no ongoing monthly fees. The sticking point about Kajabi with most newbies is the monthly fee. It's not free, and it's not inexpensive, relatively speaking. For folks who prefer (or are in a business situation) where time is more abundant than cash ... it might make sense to use simple, free tools until they get a selling and conversion system that makes money before incurring (yet another) monthly fee. On the other hand, there are lots of newbies trying to get a foothold in their markets that don't have the tech savvy to use the free tools, don't know a webmaster they can trust and afford to pay, and just want to get something online fast. .. Kajabi may still be a good choice. (note: links above are affiliate links)
