not sure how that "sums up toronto" - stereotypes and generalizations are dangerous things in my opinion. was just celebrating the great comedy, and the irony of snow being such a surprise to torontonians -- i remember 8 foot snow drifts being normal and even unremarkable in my teen years here. it makes me smile that now, after years of very little snow and short winters, 20cm evokes any response at all. seems like we've gotten a little spoiled... :)
