Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

I haven't seen anything about the in-person tours this year...are they doing that? I was hoping to drive down and take a look around my birthday mid-march :(

I agree and would do some painting and remove all the art. They always go abstract since they have to keep things neutral, but I would definitely personalize it with my own art :)

They usually do sell tickets so you can tour them though haven't seen the announcement of this one yet. I'm about 2 hours north of Merritt Island and plan to go see it too :)

I like this bathroom a lot, though wish they had used the teal penny tile behind the vanities that they did in the guest bathroom - it needs more color. The teal blue chandelier in the bedroom would go better in here too I think. And hard to tell how big that tub is...need a BIG one to fit all 5'11" of me in with water up to my neck :) I agree they need some plants and I'd get rid of that chair and switch out the 2nd sink for a make up vanity myself.

There are regulations in florida about hurricane resistance which is perhaps why it is high impact fiberglass :)

I agree about the mural - would definitely replace it with a TV and shelving. The media room would be my office for sure though I did like the room in the original right by the door as well. As always, I would be removing all the artwork and repainting to make it more mine when I win :)

I don't think 3 bedrooms is small myself. 3-4 is the average here in Florida at least.

Pots and pans in that cabinet makes no sense to me since it's so far away from the stove. I'd use it as a pantry and put pots closer to the stove myself.

I also think I'd replace the upper cabinets with ones that go all the way to the ceiling. I'm 5'11" and the extra space would be handy (plus keep my cats off the top of the cabinets - something I have problems with here and plan to replace my upper cabinets eventually too).

I think the faucet and a lot of the cabinet hardware is bronze - though I would prefer oil rubbed dark bronze myself. Might look better in person.

Yeah, the bathroom positions are strange to me....there is the 1/2 pool bath and the 1/2 bath attached to the mudroom and 2 full baths on the bedrooms on the first floor, but none in a good position for guests imo. I think I would change the laundry room into a powder room and create a door into it from the hallway (would rather have the washer and dryer in my master bedroom closet anyway). Probably make the pool 1/2 bath into a small exercise room with my treadmill (would be inspiring to look out on that view as I walk!).

I haven't seen a notice of when they are doing the tours yet, but definitely will!
