http://thebritishresistanc.co.uk/ : The Hornets Nest

"The political arena is in such a state that it can now be placed alongside the banking fraternity, and quite possibly lawyers as a profession held in such low esteem. 75% of the electorate know this. It is even quite possible that the era of Party Politics is over." In my view, the British Parliamentary system has now reached the end of its useful life. Alas, whoever gets in power will be just like all the rest. George Orwell was saying this back in the 1930s. I don’t think it would be morally right to vote for any politician under the current system. Putting power into the hands of idiots can only lead to problems. Have you noticed how terrified the media is of the BNP Some may have hoped for a change after the years of NL dictatorship in 2010 but I guess we get what we get with this pick'n'mix rainbow coalition govt.
CJM: Sorry Colonel, burning poppies, burning the Union Flag - all seems acceptable behaviour nowadays. I read somewhere also that there is a growing market in stolen metal from war memorials. We shall remember them, a land fir for heroes....? The Rider

essexman2008: I believe it is EM2008, if I recall it was the latest of several chapels built on the site since the 1200s, badley damaged after a raid in WW2, left as a ruin and pulled down after the war, leaving only the layout and a few grave markers. The Rider

Trouble is, you need to be a certain age to remeber that film, trouble is, any one watching would have thought, how ridiculous, nowadays though, with the way society is going, is it really that wacky an idea?
Henry II - "Will no one rid me of this turbulent/meddlesome priest?" I guess one shouldn't really expect the ArchBigot to vote any other way. A political appointment by Blair to bring the state and church into line with shared pink and other agendas - he is doing his master's bidding. In fact - has he said anything of value on the Egypt crisis yet, I do not recall seeing much in the MSM? Once our churches are empty of Christian Nationalists leaving just the handwringing feeble minded one world human rights crowd will he get a golden handshake I wonder for ridding the country of those pesky people who see through the spin?
http://thebritishresistanc.co.uk/ : Another Christian Church blown up in Egypt

This is true and I have not seen anything in the media from the Archbishop of Canterbury, one would have expected the head of the Christian church in a largely Christian country would have something to say on this destruction of Christian freedom of speech in another country. Although, maybe perhaps the inherent irony in that statement explains the silence. I wanted to find out more about the Egypt situation, this wouldn't normally be an area of research, during this I saw some interesting comment on a US site today, quoted: "Anderson does not put much hope in the UK Government to appoint someone who will fulfill needful church leadership and discipline." and there were damning articles about the Anglican (world wide, not limited to CoE) on the political interfering by Williams and the fact that he was possibly a political plant by Blair to meld the state and church agendas on various subjects. Whilst I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to suggest that what is happening in Egypt is a foretelling of what may happen here - I can only see the current situation in Great Britain getting worse before it gets better. The point is, will the people wake up and see with their own eyes and analyse the facts themselves and draw the inevitable conclusion before it is too late? The Rider

heechee: Does it matter what Cameron says? As you correctly answer yourself, NO, it matters not one iota of course. When I saw this on the Daily Mail site early this morning, at first I seethed at the bare faced hyprocrisy shown by it given the coverage given by the British National Party to this subject, then after a cup of tea I thought - it really doesn't matter one jot. Unless, to state but a few, he will (a) stop immediately the human rights act abuses we see on a regular basis (b) deport all foreign criminals and their families with immediate effect (c) close the borders, again with immediate effect and analyse how many if any immigrants are needed (d) stop all planning applications for new build mosques or building change of use to islamic centres etc...in other words, suddenly, nothing will happen. I seem to recall another former Tory leader (a real one though) issuing similar rhetoric, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politi... - quoted "People are really rather afraid that this country might be rather swamped by people with a different culture,” she told World In Action. Weren't her comments triggered by a perceived rise in popularity beacuase of the NF? Are we now witnessing something similar, there are real fears about the rise of immigration and yet another government that will not entertain open debate on the issue, cowardly hiding behind the fear of the R word. One fear can be overtaken by another, perhaps people are less afraid to call out nowadays and this has permeated to Westminster who see a challenge to their chosen ones? The Rider

http://thebritishresistanc.co.uk/ : If The People Vote For These, Then They Deserve Everything Coming To Them

If you are wishing to invade a country, which would be the easiest to force into submission - a country of fit healthy people who want to defend their heritage and way of life, who will defend the honour of their forebears and with a view to where the nation should be or a country of ill sickly people with a low standard of education, no care or respect for their past and no vision for the future? Which is Great Britain closer to at the moment? This may rile some people but it is as I see it, I appreciate that there ARE hardworking and concientious health care professionals in the NHS and in private care homes, who care about the patients and do not treat them as 'customers'. But..... If you visit most of the hospitals around our way they are staffed with largely immigrant doctors and nurses, some with a minimal grasp of English. The local 'care' homes are staffed with largely under-achieving people who care more for Xfactor, TV soaps, which footballer is screwing which footballers wife and which tosser celeb is on the front of OK or Hello - and in many cases the self same immigrants. What these 'carers' forget is these people that they 'care' for gave them the freedoms to enjoy the life they do, they deserve dignity in their twilight years. The staff are paid a pittance, I know that, but the fees are stronomical. The ones I have had some insight into through knowing some of the staff say that the food is bought from the cheapest outlets possible, in bulk (often using Tesco/Asda/whatever own label 'budget brands') - so where the hell is the money going. Two things are crucial to a successful nation, health care and education. In Great Britain we have had successive governments experimenting with new fangled ways of approaching both, to the detriment of our land, culture, future and those of our children, grandchildren and so on. Our history is being erased, the fire to look to the future with hope is being extinguished - our very identity is being taken by the eunazis. The Rider

London Patriot : Students Union: Leader Aaron Porter targetted by Students

The sheer hypocrisy of the left astonishes me - not. But then the mainstream media would have us believe that violence, name calling and racist abuse are somehow the sole preserve of the far right (whatever that phrase is supposed to mean in reality). The irony of this comment from the DM comment trail made me smile: "...Good luck to the protesters today, its great that people in this country are standing up for themselves. Unfortunately we have to deal with the right wing media that will, as it always has, paint you as violent and extremist. Thankfully with the internet, the majority of people are seeing through this now." Hmmmm. Stephen - ref your comment about BNP stalls being attacked and the trampling of the flag. I am afraid we have become a country where the National Flag or the Union Flag is seen as offensive. I remember a news article in 2002 or so when Blunkett was wittering on about "reclaiming the flag from the far right" - what tosh. If he and the rest of his evil empire hadn't thrown it in the gutter to be trampled on by invading hordes from the east then the British National Party wouldn't have needed to pick it up, clean it and return it to it's rightful place. What was the mantra now, oh yes - "Things can only get better". Thought for the day #1: So, these useful idiots were left wingers, nu-lab supporters possibly. Is the great leader (Red Ed) Jewish? Hmmm, so the SWP/UAF go to Ed and say, we did your bidding Master, we threw anti-semetic abuse at he enemy - 1. pick up shotgun, 2. aim at own foot, 3. pull triggers. Thought for the day #2: Compare the police protection afforded to Mr Porter to that for Mr Griffin in the recent time when he was attacked. The Rider

I saw this earlier today. So, what happened here then (linked article): http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2011/jan/02/ni... Unless I have misunderstood, as PM Camermoron could have blocked this but didn't, for the sake of the coalition, and despite security services warnings about the impact of this decision, I guess keeping in at the trough is more important than protecting the people of the country? And in case you forget, remember the mantra, we are all in this together.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1343336/O... Happy New Year to all.
Vic - Hear Hear seconded. I too rue the day when NS was stopped. Agree about the paperwork, you only have to see the forms that have to be filled in to take school kids on a day trip nowadays. You say about uniforms, most of the kids around my part of the world don't wear any school uniform to speak of, try and get then in the Scouts or some such is a lost cause. Yet they hang around the shopping centre and street corners dressed in almost identical clothes. I know if you put a uniform on an idiot you just get an idiot in a uniform but hopefully a smartly turned out idiot! Hopefully it is what goes along with the uniform that will change the idiot into a useful person. Hey - and keep wearing those spectacles, I have mine too ;-) The Rider

Yes - I saw that quote too and pondered it. We live in a society, watched on CCTV constantly and yet it is US who need to remain vigilant? As you say, under threat and never protected. I am wondering if a time will come when like a spark in a powder keg the need for vigilance will be replaced by a need to each defend themselevs and their own against a society in terminal decline? As Winston Churchill said in 1939: "If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." The Rider

Good poem, thanks for adding it to the article. Hate - yes, it is a strong word but taken in it's literal meaning of an 'intense dislike' it is a very apt word. What do the people in the folowing linked articles refer to if they do dont use the word hate? Quoted: "...downloading, researching, obtaining and discussing materials and methods; researching, discussing and carrying out reconnaissance on and agreeing potential targets; travelling to and attending meetings; and igniting and testing incendiary material." - sounds as though they were planning something based on hatred somewhere along the line?
